Hundreds of attendees were on the downtown Indianola square Thursday evening, watching dozens of balloons fly over for the annual Sky Parade. The parade serves as a way to raise awareness of the National Balloon Classic which begins later this month, and features downtown businesses, shops, restaurants offering deals and sales. The KNIA Big Red Radio was on location playing music and making announcements. Find photos of the balloons here.
