The Pella Community Food Shelf is set to open to its patrons next week after months of transitioning to their new location. Executive Director Melissa Zula is excited to share their new space soon, and an ongoing fundraising campaign is supporting the purchase and renovation of the structure at 1111 West 16th Street in Pella. The Pella Food Shelf announced on social media that this week’s distribution was intended to be their last via drive thru, and those they serve will once again be able to go through their supplies in the facility.
