Another round of smoke from Canadian wildfires has been impacting Iowa, and the air quality has diminished to a point where an advisory has been issued. The Iowa DNR has issued an alert for fine particulate pollution until noon on Monday. Smoke from wildfires in Alberta and British Columbia has been in place in the state since early this morning. The DNR recommends avoiding long or intense outdoor activities, especially those with heart or lung disease, older adults, children, and outdoor workers.
