The Marion County Community Foundation has announced the receipts of their 2023 grant cycle. The non-profit organization donated 36 grants worth more than $130,000 to various projects across the county, with the largest gifts including $15,000 to Stepping Stones in Knoxville for a heat pump replacement, $10,000 to the Friends of the Pella Community Center for renovations toward the heritage gym, just over $8,000 to the Bussey Little League rec center repurposing project, and $7,500 to the Pleasantville Sports Association for a practice and hitting facility.
