Two separate severe thunderstorm warnings briefly dumped hail on area communities this morning. The KNIA/KRLS Severe Weather Action Team was on the air first just before 7 a.m. and again from 7:50 to 8:30 a.m. for several reports of hail, including near Bussey and Tracy, the Knoxville School District, and in Leighton. Four staff members contributed to coverage, as did a Weatherology meteorologist with reports. The KNIA/KRLS Severe Weather Action Team is on the air for any severe thunderstorm or tornado warning in Marion and Warren Counties.
