The Grand Theater in Knoxville needs volunteers to continue the success of the local movie theater.
The theater, which is located on the Knoxville square, has a long history in the community. After new ownership came into place seven years ago, the theater has been remodeled and had a re-opening. The Grand Theater, which allows the community to vote on their website what films come to town, is able to keep the doors open with low prices due to the help of their volunteers, according to Grand Theater Director Jocelyn Fee.
“If we want to continue to keep our prices where they are and long term it is extremely important that we have volunteer help and we’re trying to grow that out.”
