The Knoxville chapter of Freedom for Youth will be holding a grilled cheese fundraiser during this year’s Knoxville Nationals.

The fundraiser called Freedom Food and Floats will be going on August 10th and 11th, and is a way to help pay for kids in the Freedom for Youth program to go to camp next summer. At the event, you will be able to pick out your favorite kind of bread and cheese, along with a variety of ice cream floats. Freedom for Youth Program Coordinator Christy Meissner said their fundraisers are a good way to help with camp costs.

“We were able to send 18 students to summer camp this year free of charge and we are doing fundraisers to help cover those costs so our fundraiser coming up we will be doing a grilled cheese bar.”

The fundraising event will take place from 10:00-2:00 on both days.
