Joslyn Terpstra rewrote the record books for the Pella Christian girls soccer team this season and claimed the #8 spot on our countdown of the top 10 sports moments on Eagle Lane during the 2022-23 school year.

To do so, the senior posted a hat trick plus, tying the school record with five goals in a single game and registering two assists.

A week later on Tuesday, May 9nd, Joslyn again claimed two scoring records in a 7-0 win over Oskaloosa. The senior posted a double-hat-trick to break the school records for goals in a single game with six and goals in a single season. Joslyn finished her career with a hat trick and an assist in the Eagles’ 5-4 regional semifinal loss against #13 ranked Panorama on Tuesday, May 23rd.

Despite missing her freshman season due to the global pandemic, Joslyn still managed to claim six school records and finished second in career goals with 71, just eight shy of Kirsten Monsma’s 79 goals for the top spot. Overall, she holds the record for points scored in a single game (13), season (104), and career (181), goals scored in a single game (6) and season (40), and assists in a season (24) and career (35).
