A public meeting will be held to discuss rural fire and ambulance services outside of the Pella city limits. Lake Prairie township is hosting the session on Tuesday, August 8th at 7 p.m. in the Pella Memorial Building. Discussion will center around the history and future of EMS services locally. The discussion about fire and EMS includes services to Summit and Black Oak townships, as well as as the City of Leighton.
