New Journey Church in Knoxville will hold a youth ministry car wash today.

 The car wash is from 1:00-4:00pm and is free to the public, but a free will donation is suggested to help the New Journey youth go to camp next year. The event will be held at the church and the public is encouraged to come out to get their car cleaned.

 New Journey Youth Leader Spencer Williams says events like these are important to get involved in the community. 

 “I think it’s important for our youth, even our whole church in general to be a light for the community, so if we can do something from car washes, to preparing meals, anything. It’s important for us to be a light for the community.”

 The wash is open to any kind of vehicle of all shapes and sizes.
