Counting down the top moments of the 2022-23 year for Simpson College continuing with Honorable Mentions.

While the Simpson College football team did not have the season they were hoping for, one bright spot was the domination from senior wide receiver Reed Worth. Worth led the American Rivers Conference in yards and receiving touchdowns with 1,157 and 13 respectively, providing one of the lone bright spots for the team.

The Storm women’s basketball team was young as they headed into the season, but ramped up as experience grew later on in the season, that included a win over Luther that helped them earn the #3 seed. The Storm were down to Luther on the road 73-72, when Elle Street found an open Anna Wanek in the corner with just 5.3 seconds left as she hit a game winner.
