Melcher-Dallas is the top for the #4 moment in the area schools top ten countdown of memorable moments during this school year. Logan Godfrey will leave Melcher-Dallas as one of the most decorated athletes, and he added to those honors with two events at the Blue Oval in May at the class 1A State Meet. Godfrey qualified in the long jump and high jump. Godfrey had not participated in long jump since his 7th grade season, but was able to finish 22nd with a jump of 19 feet and 3/4 inches. He finished 9th in the high jump with a jump of 6/1.
