Pella Historical Museums will be showing a taste of the community from years past at a screening this weekend. Film found by Scott Vanden Berg from the 1930s and 1960s will be showing this Sunday at the Pella Cinemas at noon. The free-admission =event will also feature local historian Bruce Boertje discussing the history of theaters in Pella, as well as background on Oscar Benson, the proprietor of the Pella Theatre at the time “Our Own Gang Comedy” was filmed.
