A Knoxville man was injured in a motorcycle crash in northern Iowa. KWQC Radio reports a southbound 2009 Honda XL operated by 24-year-old Allen L. Waite struck a large piece of wood in the middle of the traffic lane on Interstate 35 near Williams Thursday afternoon. The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office reports the motorcycle operated by Waite landed on its side and then struck a cable barrier support area. Waite was transported to Van Diest Medical Center by the Williams EMS Department for treatment of his injuries.
