The city of Melcher-Dallas is still under a boil advisory due to a city water main being hit. 

According to Melcher-Dallas Public Works Director Gary Comer, the order will last under further notice. The water was turned off in the city for two and a half hours yesterday to install a new valve. Comer added that bacteria sampling started as soon as the water was turned back on.
