PCM hopes to see their football stadium packed again this year on Friday Nights.

The success for the Mustang football program has been consistent for several years and the community support on Friday nights is something the athletic department prides itself on.

PCM Athletic Director Jeremy Swink says it means so much to have their football stadium full.

“Friday nights are definitely special. That’s what a lot of communities rally behind is the football team. It’s a popular sport and we traditionally had some success in football too which makes it that much more attractive to have people come out and watch. The football stadium is very special and for a school our size it’s not super common to have that type of facility so very proud to have it and our kids are very lucky to be able to have something like that. Truthfully I believe even if we didn’t have that we would still have the same amount of community support because our community is fully behind our kids and programs.”

PCM kicks off the football season on Friday, August 25th against Sigourney- Keota. PCM football can be heard this fall on the KRLS3 stream at KNIAKRLS.com.
