The Pleasantville athletic department is hoping to keep up their success in the West Central Conference.

The Trojans have seen tougher competition since moving to the West Central Conference before the 2018-2019 school year, but the respective programs have adapted. 

Pleasantville Athletic Director Joel Allman said last year was the best they have done since joining the conference. 

“This is the highest finish we have had as far as all sports in the conference. They do a fun little tally system where you get so many points for first place in the conference, second place, all the way down to the twelfth place school so we actually had our best finish since we joined the conference” 

The Trojans were previously in the Pride of Iowa Conference.
