Abbey Jackson of Knoxville was named the 2023 Knoxville Nationals Queen Tuesday night.

Much of Abbey’s childhood was spent at the race track, as she is the daughter of former sprint car driver Skip Jackson, who has the 9th most wins all-time at Knoxville Raceway.

The contest which was held at Dyer Hudson Hall, featured 13 candidates from the United States and Canada. Amanda Hoegsted of Crawfordville, IN was first runner up and Emma Baker of Rock Rapids, IA was second runner up. The winner of the Miss Congeniality award was Taylor Bradshaw of Ankeny.

The competition had six judges, two of which were sprint car drivers Ryan Leavitt and Brad Sweet.
