A Pleasantville man was flown by helicopter with injuries suffered in a collision with a car late Tuesday night. The Iowa State Patrol reports 26 year old Buddy Fett was a pedestrian riding a skateboard along Highway 14 near Illinois Drive north of Knoxville at 11:42 p.m. A Dodge Journey driving by 40 year old Debra Ann Williams of Knoxville was also traveling southbound and struck Fett, who was transported to Des Moines by Mercy One Lifeflight. The Iowa State Patrol is handling the investigation. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Knoxville Fire and Rescue, and possibly other agencies responded.
