The Marion County Board of Supervisors approved two appointments to the county development commission at their meeting on Tuesday. 

Of the two appointed, Jacob Crozier will be representing the rural area and Jim Mitchell represents the Pella area. 

The board also approved a $30,000 funding request for the Knoxville Senior Center, along with an application for the courthouse grounds to be used for a Freedom for Youth event on August 31st.
