Knoxville Hospital & Clinics want to remind students before the upcoming school year of how much sleep they should be getting.
Teens should be getting 8-10 hours of sleep each night and school aged kids from 6-13 years old should get 9-11 hours.
Dr. Jared Rietveld talked about the importance of students not being deprived of sleep.
“Sleep deprivation can just lead to worse things. Good sleep is the way to do the best at school, and with friends, and with family.”
