The girls and boys Pleasantville cross country teams this year are looking to stay competitive in a tough West Central Conference.

At state cross country last year, three of the top fifteen finishers for both boys and girls were from the West Central Conference. 

Pleasantville Cross Country Coach Aaron Fitcher talked about the advantages of competing in such a tough conference. 

“You definitely can spin it as this idea that if you can compete in this conference, that if you can go head to head with this team or this individual, you know that you’re good enough” 

The Pleasantville boys and girls both kick off their cross country seasons on September 5th.
