The Culture Night Series continues at the Pella Public Library. On Tuesday, August 15 at 6:30 p.m., “Culture Night: Jordan” features Hamza and Summer Daour sharing stories and traditions of Jordan, a southwest Asian country that is home to more than 100,000 archaeological and religious sites. Within Jordan is one of the oldest cities in the world – its capital, Amman – and the lowest point on Earth – located in the Dead Sea. Culture Night: Jordan will take place in the Meeting Room of the Pella Public Library located at 603 Main St. This program is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome, but recommended for Kindergarten age or older. The Culture Night series will continue this fall with programs about Costa Rica on September 12, Antarctica on October 9 and Germany on October 30. All will be in the library Meeting Room at 6:30 p.m.
