This week’s Pella City Council meeting will focus on discussion. During policy and planning, the council will discuss when to hold the annual Beggar’s Night locally. Last year, the council was approached in October about holding the event on the Saturday before Halloween, but those discussions didn’t happen until late in the fall. The council is also going to discuss holding the event on October 30th or the 31st. No formal action will be taken. The council will also receive an update about Pella Community Ambulance and service outside of the city limits.
