Pleasantville Christian Church is holding a community appreciation event on August 26th.

This event is to celebrate all of the community members who helped the church rebound from a fire that destroyed their previous building in 2020.

The event will start at 5:30 pm and will feature live music along with food, a church tour, dunk tank, and lawn games. This event is the night cap for three total events happening in the community that day.  

Pleasantville Christian Church Pastor Don Naftz says this event is a celebration of how the community has come together to help them out after the fire. 

“Our church facility that was 120 years old burnt to the ground on March 30th of 2020 and the community stepped up and helped us in many different ways so this is a time of appreciation and celebration.”
