The Knoxville Volleyball Squad is less than a week from starting its season and Coach Mollie Keitges has yet to figure out a starting lineup for Monday’s quad at Oskaloosa. A deeper team this season will give Keitges a lot to look at leading up to that first match. She adds that each player is working hard in practice and that is what is making it tough to come up with a starting six.

Keitges: “We have a lot of kids that can step up and do their job. In volleyball that is so key for kids to step in and fill a role. We’re a week out from our first match but I really like the way they’re working in practice.”

The Panthers will open up at Oskaloosa in a quad against the Indians, Ottumwa and Carlisle. Fans can get a first look at the volleyball squad this Friday on Meet The Panthers Night at 5:45 in the high school gym.
