19 girls are out for Melcher-Dallas Volleyball this fall. Coach Jesyka Nolte tells KNIA Sports that is good numbers for her and along with the senior class, the Saints will also have a good group of freshmen players. Nolte is entering her 8th season at the helm in Melcher-Dallas and says this is one of the biggest groups she has had. Nolte adds with a deeper team, there are no guaranteed starting or playing spots.

Nolte: “You can change things up and no one is guaranteed a position. If you’re the stud on the team and you know it, you’re not going to work as hard. I don’t want that type of kid on my team, I want kids that are going to work hard every day, no matter what.”

The Saints will be experienced up front with kills leader Gabby Overgaard returning. Along with Overgaard, Saydi Benz, Brooklyn Metz, and Kianna Jackson all return.
