The Pleasantville football team will host Grinnell for a scrimmage on Friday night. 

The Trojans finished last season with a 4-5 overall record and are looking to improve on that this year with new starting quarterback Ryder Thill. The Trojans will travel to Truro next Friday for their first regular season game against the Interstate 35 Roadrunners. 

Head Football Coach Mack Jorth talked about how his guys have responded well when asked to really come together as a team.

“They responded to that with really treating each other well and carrying a real positive energetic atmosphere into the practice field and so we as coaches have been really pleased with what we’ve seen so far. Now we just have to see how it translates into competing against other football teams.” 

 Friday night’s scrimmage against Grinnell will start at 6:00 pm.
