The Indianola School Board met in regular session Tuesday, which included setting the public hearing date on $43 million in bond funding for the high school Replace-in-Place Construction Project. Superintendent Ted Ihns tells KNIA News the public hearing is procedural, and the project is finishing up the design and concept stages now, with rough plans to go to bid in the new year.
“Getting those out right at the beginning of the calendar year. Then we’ll be able to move forward, and once the bids are in and everything is squared away, hopefully late summer or early fall we’ll be able to start the project work itself.”
