After back-to-back five win seasons, the Melcher-Dallas Volleyball Squad is looking to get back to how things were a combined 38-11 during the 2019 and 2020 seasons one of those seasons was winning the Bluegrass Conference Tournament title. Coach Jesyka Nolte tells KNIA Sports right now the girls are working well with each other, and that is one important thing that she looks for.

Nolte: “It’s early on in the season but the girls are getting along well, and they like each other, so I hope that continues and we can contend this year.”

19 girls greeted Nolte on the first day of practice and she adds that is as many as she has ever had to start a season.
