PCM Volleyball Coach Sarah De Vries is building a strong culture around the Mustang volleyball program.

De Vries is entering her second year as volleyball coach for PCM. The Mustangs finished the season last year with a 10-22 overall record, but were able to develop a strong bond as a team.

The Mustangs are returning three key seniors this year in Elle Davis, Eliana Buswell, and Reese Palm, who are all expected to be key contributors to the team.

Coach Sarah De Vries says it is important to build bonds as a team.

“Sometimes the key areas aren’t even on the court. I think the relationships that we build with the girls, you know they’re students first and they’re daughters, and sisters. They’re people and have lives outside of the court and so just building those bonds with them. That was a huge surprise for me last year just how well we worked as a team and knew each other and supported each other and I look forward to that again this year.”

PCM Volleyball opens their season on Tuesday at Newton.
