Ryder Thill will be carrying on the family tradition as starting quarterback for the Pleasantville Trojans. 

Thill’s father, Brian, who graduated in 1991, also played quarterback for the Trojans. Ryder will be a first year starting quarterback who has sat behind Parker Sheets the last couple seasons. 

Head Football Coach Mack Jorth says Ryder has worked hard for this opportunity. 

“We’re real excited for Ryder Thill. He’s done a great job working his tail off all off-season. Working his tail off the last couple years just waiting his turn to take over the reigns.He got to play a little bit here and there last year backing up Parker Sheets but he has done everything possible to put himself in a good position to lead this team and we’re excited to see what he can do to lead the way.” 

The Trojans will kick off their season on August 25th against Interstate 35.
