For the last few seasons, the Knoxville Volleyball Squad has improved the non-conference scheduling especially in the Saturday invitationals. One event that is new to the Panthers this year is the Waukee Invitational. Knoxville wants to play the bigger schools to not only boost its profile in the regional pairings, but get ready for the postseason. Coach Mollie Keitges tells KNIA/KRLS Sports all of the Saturday invitationals provide challenges.

Keitges: “There’s no tournament that I can look at and say we can win this. We have to figure out how to win and not just compete in these tournaments. So Waukee, why not?”

The Panthers will have a quad to start off the season in Oskaloosa taking on the host Indians Carlisle and Ottumwa. Fans can also get a first look at the Knoxville Volleyball Squad during Meet The Panthers Night as Knoxville will have an inters-quad scrimmage in the high school gym starting at 5:45.
