The bid letting for the T15 Flagler Bridge project will go out next week.

This project will completely replace the current bridge and is expected to be one of the largest projects in the last several years for the Marion County Road Department. 

Marion County Engineer Tyler Christian says this project will eat up a lot of the federal bridge fund. 

“We hope bids come in really well because we’re just over the four million dollar range in our engineers estimate. That’s a fairly substantial bridge project and eats up about ten years of our federal bridge fund allocation for Marion County.”
