For the first time under Head Coach Jay McKinstrey, Pella has a scrimmage opponent on week zero. Tonight, the Dutch travel to Monroe to take on PCM ahead of the 2023 season. The Dutch have had their own intersquad scrimmage for several years, but finally found a partner to begin the next two campaigns, according to McKinstrey. PCM Head Coach Greg Bonnett looks forward to the chance to take on a strong foe to get a strong start to 2023 as well. The scrimmage starts with 9th graders at 5 p.m., JV at 6 p.m., and varsity at 7 p.m. at PCM High School. Coverage of the Dutch this fall can be heard on 92.1 KRLS and the KRLS2 stream, as well as Pella Dutch Live; the Mustangs will be featured on the KRLS3 stream.
