Pleasantville volleyball will open their season on Tuesday against Des Moines Christian. 

The Lions finished last season at the top of the conference with a 46-6 overall record and went to the state tournament as the number one overall seed. They fell to Sioux Center in the state semifinals 3-1.

Pleasantville volleyball coach Joel Allman knows the task in front of them.

Pleasantville finished last season with a 20-19 regular season record.
