Knoxville High School classes will be back in session come Thursday.
Summer is officially coming to a close, which means classrooms are starting to fill up again. Wednesday evening there will be a freshman orientation and then everyone will start class on Thursday.
There will be two early outs to start the year at KHS and the students will also notice some other curriculum changes. In years past, Knoxville High School Principal Tracy Wilkins says they had an alternate day A/B block for their classes and now they will move to a more traditional schedule.
“We’re now going to a traditional 4×4 block which means all classes meet everyday and you will get a semester’s worth of credit in a quarter. That’s probably the biggest change that we’re having and it will be an adjustment period for both the teachers and the students.”
