The Indianola girls swimming team fell to Southeast Polk Tuesday night in their season and home opening contest 125-57. The shorthanded Indians featured Olivia Bacon with two top finishes on the evening in the 200 Freestyle with a time of 2:03.90 and 500 Freestyle with a time of 5:41.10. Guinever McCusker finished in 2nd in the 200 Individual Medley with a time of 2:31.68 and 2nd in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 1:07.89, Faith Mahlstadt finished in 2nd in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 28.76, and Chloey Hart finished in 2nd in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 1:12.65. The 200 Medley Relay, 200 Freestyle Relay, and 400 Freestyle Relay teams also all finished in 2nd place on the evening. The Indians continue their fall schedule next week hosting Perry on Tuesday.
