The start of the fall sports season at Pella Christian has been pushed back a day, after the first scheduled event of the new school year was canceled due to the forecasted heat.

The Eagles cross country squads were set to open the 2023 fall sports season on Thursday at the Marshalltown Early Bird Invitational. With the cancellation, Pella Christian cross country will now be the last of fall sports team on Eagle Lane to begin their season. The Eagles football team will now begin the 2023 sports year on Friday night with the game at Des Moines Christian. 

To make up the loss of the Marshalltown meet, the Pella Christian cross country teams will now head to Albia on Monday for their season opener.
