The Simpson College women’s golf team checked in at eighth in the American Rivers Conference Preseason Coaches’ Poll, as announced Wednesday by the conference office.
The team is poised to take a strong leap this season, with all six members of last year’s squad returning, including junior Madeline Streicher who paced the Storm at the A-R-C Championships, with her 13th-place finish the highest by a Storm golfer since 2019. Streicher won her third career individual title, winning the two-day Battle of Waterloo. They begin their season with a two-day meet beginning on September 2nd.
