With one game in, the Twin Cedars Football Squad will try to be more competitive this week against Lamoni. The Sabers were never in the game against Colo-NESCO in their week zero loss to the Royals. The Sabers were held to less than 100 yards of total offense last week in a 74-8 loss. Coach Cam Parker tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he expects Lamoni to run a power game, and feels that will help his defense stay in the game.
Parker: “Last year it looked like they run a power formation, I hope they run that because out defense does better with a power run team rather than a spread team that gets us into trouble.”
Parker adds being familiar with Lamoni as a Bluegrass Conference opponent will also help his team in figuring out who to stop for the Demons.
