The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is reminding  citizens of traffic laws when driving over Red Rock Dam. 

The stop lights are not optional and the speed limit is 35 mph from speed sign to speed sign while they remain posted. 

When construction is going on, workers are in close proximity to the road and are working with heavy equipment. The dam will continue to have periodic shut downs going into 2024.
