The #2 Indianola volleyball team swept Pella Christian to begin Little Hawkeye Conference play Tuesday night at home 3-0, while the Indianola girls and boys cross country teams each had top finishes at Dallas Center-Grimes.

The third set saw the Indians jump out to an early 10-3 lead, but the Eagles fought back to get to a two-point deficit at 14-12, before it seemed like Indianola took control to lead 23-16, but the Eagles fought all the way back to get it back to a 24-23 deficit but the Indians held on to win the next point and earn the sweep. They improve to 11-0 on the season, and will next play next Tuesday at Norwalk.
