The Knoxville Chapter of Freedom for Youth is holding a back to program bash today.

This is a kick off bash for Freedom for Youth entering back into their regular programming. There will be raffle prizes, food, bounce houses, games, and school supplies. Other area churches will be there to showcase what upcoming events they have going on.

Freedom for Youth Community Development Coordinator Angie Gentry says this is an opportunity for parents to enroll their students in the program and a way to sign up to volunteer.

“The main purpose of this fun community event is for our kids to get registered for our fall programming which is free to any school aged student. Also, if you’re interested in learning about Freedom for Youth or volunteering, this event is a great opportunity to find out about us and sign up as a volunteer as well.”

The event will take place on 3rd street which will be blocked off just east of the Knoxville square in front of the Freedom for Youth building at 107 S 3rd St.
