The work on the north and south alleys of the Indianola downtown square continues, replacing the city parking lot in the south and utilities in both locations. Community and Economic Development Director Charlie Dissell tells KNIA News the updated timelines for completion of both areas of the project is set for later this month for the south alley, and potentially September or early October for the north alley.
Before extensive utility work was discovered in both locations, the timeline anticipated work on both alleys to be completed during the summer months.
