As part of a continued sharing agreement, seven Norwalk student-athletes are competing this fall for the Des Moines Lincoln girls swim team. The Railsplitter squad consists of girls from Lincoln, Norwalk and Carlisle.

Norwalk swimmers on the roster include seniors Camrie Niemeyer and Riley Samuelson, junior Emma Sizemore, and freshmen Mallory Betts, Hannah LeFleur, Hannah Smith and Kinsley Stumbaugh.

Sizemore has qualified for multiple state events as a freshman and sophomore. Last season, she placed 19th in the 500-yard freestyle at state and finished 21st in the 200 freestyle. She also swam a leg of the Rails’ state-qualifying 200 and 400 freestyle relays.

Lincoln has recorded two dual wins so far this season, defeating Marshalltown and Des Moines East.
