A major push for Simpson College over the last several years has been infrastructure upgrades to both the academic and athletics facilities, including a new library, upgrades to the Cowles Fieldhouse, and new turf on the baseball and softball fields. Simpson President Jay Byers tells KNIA News there are further upgrades being planned.

“We are thinking a lot as a college about what are those next investments and what do they need to be? What does that order look like, and how do we raise the money to get that done? But we are just getting started on some pretty major infrastructure projects, so hold tight. We are going to do it right, we are going to do it smart, but we are going to make some big investments in this place moving forward.”
