An oath of office was administered to firefighter Micah Aurand at the Knoxville City Council meeting Tuesday night. 

Aurand was sworn in by Mayor Brian Hatch, presented her badge by Knoxville Fire Department Chief Cal Wyman, and had the badge pinned by her father. The board received an update on the status of funded activities for the 203 E Main Knoxville Facade Project, and it was reported that the project is over 50% completed.

There was also an approval for a change order from C.L. Carroll in the amount of $105,500 for the Water Reclamation UV Disinfectant Project. The council approved the site plan from Jason and Lily Maasdam for a building addition to the Eye Health Solutions Clinic at 414 E Main Street.
