A race featuring several ranked teams awaits the top-ranked Pella Cross Country teams next week. The Dutch head to the Ballard invitational Monday, a race that has successfully predicted the eventual 3A champions each of the last four seasons. While it’s not fair to assume that streak will continue, Head Coach Doug Cutler says the field of 14 ranked teams makes the race run similar to how the state meet feels in Fort Dodge in October.
