Mackenzie Biggs posted a 2-over-par 74 for the Central College women’s golf team to take second-place honors at the Siouxland Invitational on Thursday.

The Dutch ended the day with the same one-shot deficit they started with, shooting 324-310—634 and finished behind Morningside College in the 36-hole tournament. Biggs carded 77-74—151, placing two shots behind Kelsey Heath of Mount Marty (S.D.), who finished with 75-74—149. Lydia Grond tied for fifth at 82-77—159. Peyton Bytnar  placed 10th at 83-79—162 while Rachel Sohn shot 82-84—166 and Avery Woods had 91-80—171. At-large entrant Parker Stout shot 85-88–173, Jaden Smith shot 95-85—180 and Mickey Martens shot 94-92—186.

The Dutch will have a rare weekend off before traveling to Normal, Illinois for the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational at the Ironwood Golf Course Sept. 16-17.
